We began building Energy Star homes in 2005. Since then we have continually raised the bar. Our 2008 Parade home tested to be almost 50 percent more energy efficient than required by the energy code. Our 2009 Parade home has bettered that score and is certified at HERS 46. That makes it twice as energy efficient as a home built to code standards.
